University of kelaniya
The University of Kelaniya started in 1875 as Vidyalangara Piriwena. Then in 1959 it became Vidyalangara University. Later Vidyalangara campus of the university of Ceylon in 1972 and finally it becames the university of kelaniya in 1978.
Today the University of Kelaniya is one of the topest university in Srilanka. It is located in Dalugama, Kelaniya near the Kelaniya River. This University has seven faculties.
